Our core purpose remains the rescue and rehabilitation of indigenous wildlife.
All efforts to preserve, assist or rescue indigenous wildlife, carried out in accordance with all legal requirements, will be met with support from Wildlife in Crisis (WIC).
We are well aware of the recent events that have developed within the local wildlife rehabilitation environment, as portrayed in the public domain. Whilst Wildlife in Crisis (WIC) has endeavored to remain neutral and remain out of any ongoing feuds, it has become apparent that the situation is being exploited with the unauthorized use of our name and reference to our facility.
We wish to qualify the situation in clear and defined terms:
We trust that everybody will appreciate the importance of our actions, taken to safeguard our permits, safeguard existing wildlife in our care, and safeguard all wildlife that will in future be entrusted to the WIC rehabilitation centre.
Includes all natural and juristic persons. Whether formal or informal of nature, registered or unregistered organization, group or individual.
